1. Spacious. 2. Japan is an earthquake-prone country, and I am cautious about having loose objects hanging over my bed while I sleep, as they could fall and cause injury during an earthquake - especially in the head area. I appreciate the thoughtful design of the bed placement, which ensured there were no such items positioned above my head.

Location was great, right next to the Chuo and Sakaisuji lines which enabled easy access across the city and beyond. Didn't try the free beer but it looked quite popular. The room was quite spacious and there was plenty of room for our luggage. Separate bathroom and shower made things easier with our kids. Amenities in bathroom and room were very good. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the blinds were very dark so there was very little light getting into the room. I slept the best on my trip at this hotel! The free pool table on the 2nd floor was a big hit with my 13 year old. Didn't try the breakfast as there are convenience stores, grocery store, and restaurants all very close to the hotel. There is a Starbucks about a two-minute walk from hotel, although coffee in the room was great.

Room size was fairly large when compared to typical Japanese hotel rooms. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean and quite modern. Beautiful bar on the roof with a view of the city, although it was a little on the expensive side. Location is quiet and close to the metro entrance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free beer was offered for an hour in the evening.

Likes: modem, clean and had a nice vibe. Room was big and lovely and breakfast was tasty.we had a great stay overall. Dislikes: The sofa bed wasn’t made up on Our arrival as arranged and they only offered a sheet and pillow after being requested , had to ask again for blanket. Was the end of the world, just would have been nice to be done on Arrival. We selected this hotel as it was a little away from the action but because it had a bar and upstairs terrace, we could enjoy these in the evening when the kids were in the room. Sadly most of our stay, this area was closed for private functions, would have stayed somewhere else

The Lively Osaka is truly a hidden gem! This hotel had fantastic energy — it was lively, modern, and perfect for travellers looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay. We were traveling with our 18- and 20-year-old children, and they absolutely loved the vibe. The bar, the free beer hour, and the DJ created a great social atmosphere that made it easy to relax and meet other travellers. We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar — the cocktails were excellent, and it was such a nice spot to unwind in the evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking airport shuttles and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. One major highlight was the room size. After staying in several more compact hotels on our trip, the generous, modern, and spotless rooms at The Lively Osaka were a real treat. The location couldn’t be better either — it’s central and within easy walking distance of many of Osaka’s main attractions. Overall, The Lively Osaka exceeded our expectations. It’s stylish, welcoming, and full of energy — we would absolutely stay here again!

We booked a fairly spacious room which met our expectations. The atmosphere of the hotel was indeed pretty "lively" with a billiard table in the reception room, a DJ booth on the first floor, and a bar on the top floor with a small lounge area on the roof. There is also a lounge area that is well stocked with some essentials like coffee, water, tea, and microwave and toaster oven. During the evening, there is a happy hour with free beer, then later the counter was offering other things like what looked like wraps and then waffles. We didn't stay in often so am not fully aware of the variety of offerings. The breakfast was an interesting setup with a selection of sandwiches to choose from and focaccia with choice of filling which is served with a salad. There is also two soups to choose from. The bar upstairs was well stocked and even allowed me to submit a custom cocktail request. The staff was very friendly.

Booked this property for a business trip to Osaka and it did not disappoint. It is very chique and modern, with a great common area to work and a fantastic restaurant. (I wish it was open for lunch, we would have stayed in the hotel all day.) The bar upstairs has a great view and makes wonderful cocktails. The room was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. So good, we booked their sister property when we went to Tokyo.

We chose the family style room so we could have a bit of space for our 3 nights in Osaka and it was perfect! Having a little lounge area as well as ample bedding space was great. Easily had room for our 4 large suitcase. Having two sinks was super handy for a family of 4 & the shower was great! Nice and close to subway station entry Convenience store on the corner Nice and quiet street Breakfast was enjoyable Staff were all friendly The Bar on the top floor is a nice place to enjoy a drink and soak up the view

Such a rad spot. Common spaces you actually want to hang out in, vibey and inviting. Got the room with projector screen and it actually worked very well and was easy to use. Bed was comfortable but I didn’t realize it was that small when I booked it, really good for one person but had two lol. Free beer and live DJ which really was a nice touch. Fellow travelers all sipping and chatting was cool to see and be a part of. Lives up to its name. Also, the snacks available at reception are stellar. Try the caramel walnuts or the seaweed. Still thinking about those. Liked this hotel even better than the two we stayed at in Kyoto, we liked those too!
